LED grow light solution

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a solution to this? I�m looking to install grow lights over two gravel trays in my potting shed measuring a total of 2.5m x 40cm. Obviously this is a big area so I�m after a cost-effective solution.

Stan - I bought 300x300mm square panels, Big Mallly made his own up buying rolls there is a thread on here somewhere but the photos have gone I think.

To help keep my seedlings happy, I put two LED floodlights above a heated propagator.



They were cheap at around �12 each from Amazon for the 30 watt, daylight (6500k) version. There are high powers and ones with lower thermal temperature, ie more red, if you�re interested in flowering under lights.

Bonus with these, as typical LED grow lights, is everything has a normal colour.

If you are handy with a soldering iron Stan, you can buy red & blue LED strips on rolls. Then it's just a matter of cutting them to the length you want & soldering them together along with a female power socket to take the 5v mains plug. This was a lid I knocked up last year, you can just about make out the soldered joints:
