I wonder if it would work in BM's fish tv,if it was put inside the tank & sealed in so it was just working on that area of glass?

Nice thought Jane but the opening of the tank is under water to let the fish enter.

Our water butt smells......alot.

We don't have a drain in our garden so to empty it out and give it a clean would mean filling the watering can and then doing a 50m walk to the nearest drain on the road.

I am not that fit (and possibly never have been) so I was wondering if I could use some of the water purifying tablets to clean it up a bit?

Ant other suggestions gratefully recieved.

After a few boxes of water purifying tablets, 3 kettles of boiling water, 1oz of salt and my fine mesh sieve my butt is all clean and no longer puts out a smell that could drop a camel at 50 paces.
