Tin roof Sheets

i have managed to blag some tin roof sheets off a garage from free cycle

Any ideas on best use for them on my new allotment

I had considered ground cover to keep the weeds down until I can cultivate

Build a compost bin or manure bin

Store them in case I build a shed and need a roof

They are 5ft by 3ft don't know how many until tomorrow

Any ideas welcome

Are they corregated? I have some as the roof of one of my sheds. There were a few more lying around at the bottom of the garden when I bought the house, so I made a compost heap with them.

Odd ball ideas:
With a wooden frame build a bench or table. (Rustic idea)
Or a shelter for when it rains.

Id possibly consider standing them down the side of my beds to drape netting over them.

Compost bin is a good idea also.

Sounds like a fun task anyway...

Someone on private allotments near me has rigged up 4 sheets of corrugated around a blue water butt, so each one has one narrow end resting on the top of the butt, and the other end supported slightly higher on 2 posts, to catch rainwater, as there's no water on site.

Build a shed and keep chickens in it

Leek trench! Get some scaffold pipe lengths brayed into the ground around sheets on edge and fill with manure topped with soil compost mix!
