As were in Torquay we have a lot of palms, the leaves (fronds) tear easily into string size strips and you could tow a caravan with it.photo album of my garden in my profile http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...my+garden.htmlComment

The empty sacks I get my (free) spent hops in, are passed on to the lady with 2 ponies. She fill em with manure (free) and ties them with orange baler twine (free) that they cut from the hay bales. I untie these and use the twine for all sorts of tasks in the garden. The hop sacks can be used several times before that start to break down.Comment
