I need advice on buying a hose pipe please

I have decided that i need to invest in buying an hose pipe, as i am fed up of filling up the watering can time after time.

I need a 50m one but dont know what thickness is best, and would i need to buy a reel or would a wall mounted holder be better.

I have looked on various sites and i have no idea which is best, so i thought i would ask you wonderful expert gardeners (this is only my second year of growing my own veg) and i look forward to reading your replies.

I've a yellow Hozelock one too. I'd really like one one on a wall mounted automatic reel but can't really justify the expense as there is nothing wrong with the hose and reel I have. Whatever you do don't buy one of those curly skinny hoses often advertised in Sunday mags. My neighbour has one it's awful as it has a life of its own.

Don't think so. Is yellow though!
