giant strawberries

Well, these ones varied Bill. It's true the smaller ones did seem sweeter but these weren't bad and the texture was good.

I have sown some giant strawberry seeds this year, does anyone know how long before they will fruit?

You will get fruit next year. One thing, they do like to produce runners, lots of them. I did let my plants put out a couple of runners because I had such bad germination. On the hole I cut off runners and any flowers, so there roots would get nice and strong. So there second year they were ready to produce fruit. They are Big fruit but not what I would call giant. This is my first year of producing fruit with my plants, I'm hopping next year the fruit will be bigger.
