I posted a few weeks ago that I thought I had failed my cauliflowers, as the leaves were so huge and no sign of a curd. Its the first time I have ever grown any brassicas of any kind and I was convinced I hadnt been feeding enough. Well, I have an update!
I cannot quite express the buzz I felt when I peeked inside my cauliflowers tonight and saw this:
This one has black spotty things all over it - I am not sure what they are - I presume they are eggs or bugs. Will it be ok to eat once washed? Muesli, my elderly bunny rabbit, is going to have an absolute field day
!
If you had asked me just a couple of years ago if I would be so excited as I am now from gardening, I would have thought you were barmy!! Now I think its the bees knees!!
