One Marina di Chioggia squash and one Sweet Siberian watermelon.

I'll try to take a photo of the watermelon cut open if I remember. And a picture of all of my different squashes together.

A communist dictator sized marrow from a packet of seeds that did nor come up like the picture on the packet.
The plant produced fat podgy fruits like communist dictators without pale stripes. The other three plants produced big deeply ribbed fruits also without stripes.

I have got the smooth skinned ones called Turk's turban. I am keeping them on the vine in the hope that they will keep fresh longer and now the weather will also help them ripen a bit more.

Our England is a garden, and such gardens are not made
By singing-'Oh how beautiful!" and sitting in the shade,
While better men than we go out and start their working lives
At grubbing weeds from gravel paths with broken dinner-knives. ~ Rudyard Kipling
