    Your fruit doesn't look at all like Ashmead's K. If it were Ellison's Orange, look for aniseed taste and greasy skin when mature. But could be Lord Lambourne.

      I think it's most likely to be Ellison's Orange assuming it's ripe now.

      It's not Tydeman's Early Worcester which was one of the varieties sent to me in error. (A tasteless variety IMO, but if anyone wants a free apple tree on M9 they're welcome to it this winter, LOL.)

        It does look like Ellison's, also Fortune. I think American Mother was similar and it's alongside in their catalogue, but a few years ago mine leaned to death so I can't check.
