alas ,with regards to legs, all true, the weather here, however, means we always hope for better, cos it always could be better than it is....12deg and raining again now, cannot remember the last whole "sunny" day, just weeks of dark clouds with occasional outburst of sunlight, .... on the upside , the long cold spring looks like it has made for a bumper crop on the apples, about 6 weeks behind but already getting a good size, the bramley as expected, but the russets are starting to grow in size, so fingers crossed for what I rate as the best of apples..
