I wouldn't get too excited leona. I've picked cloudberries up here as well as bilberries and they look amazing but taste fairly bland. I know the Scandinavians rave about them but hey, each to their own! Worth trying but not worth going out of your way for.Originally posted by leona View Postwow i didnt know cloudberrys grew here! i heard about them alot when i was planning a trip to norway early this year but while i was there it was far too early for berrys. going back next month tho and am dying to try cloudberrys.

We seem to have loads of cherries down the lane where we walk our dog - I tried a couple of the ripe ones that the birds had missed last night and they were heaven! - No ill effects yet - I'll wait a day or two and maybe take a tupperware box on the next walk!!!!
