Hello OP. I started a thread on a weird thing on my Red currents. It's the same as yours! They are in fact Scale insects ( thank you grape viners) They don't seem to damaging but I scraped off all that I could find and I'll give them a spray when the rain stops....Yucky!Hussar!Comment
