Oh bugger, thats not what i want, it says on the label "provides great tasting fruit" ! but it does also show a pic of some very pretty flowers so i am at a loss now.

Just had another look at the link and it says mature hieght is 10-12 " tall, so i think its not that one as it is already 24" tall and growing like mad

What do the flowers on the label look like Rob? Is this them Phlox hybrid Intensia Blueberry from Saunders Brothers Inc
Seems a bit odd that it refers to fruit on the label if its a Phlox. Where did you buy it?

Never mind, either the wrong label has been put on the plant or the butterflies are gonna have a ball.

I certainly wouldn't give up space in the fruit cage to it - with its soil needs as well. Would like to know who is selling it - with its ambiguous label!

Blueberry flowers are very distinctive, little pinky white bells, says she, looking outside through the rain!

No point speculating VC until Rob comes back with either a pic or a description of the flowers.

Well i went up the lottie and had another look at the label, it deff says it a phlox, and on the label it says they are great eating, and gaurantee fruit in the first year ! so now i am well and truly muddled.

I had it bought for me at a local garden centre, which as far as i know has a very very good reputation (and prices to match).

Sorry i cant remember much about the flowers, but i will take another look tomorrow, and try and get some pictures while i am at it.

The label said it grows upto 5 foot tall if that helps.

What have i got.......i have no idea, hopefully you will be able to tell me when you see some photo's.

                        Rob.

I'd go to that garden centre and ask them what the plant is! If they still have some on sale you can double check what it says & whether its on sale in the fruit section or the flowers. I do think you need know exactly what you are planting!

AND, if its mislabelled, ask for your money back!

I hope I am wrong Rob but you may have one of these, they grow up to 6 foot.

No, Rob, Don't go now. The giant Phlox is waiting - and they're known to be dangerous after dark
