Morning all.
Distinctly cooler here isnAberdeenshire this morning. Where did the summer go, oh yes, what summer..
Looking for some advice on 2 aspects of goosberries.
I have 4 bushes which are growing in an up curving out and down (bunch of flowers) type of habit.
1) How do I prune them so I can grow them in a vertical way. Had a good crop but my fingers are pricked to bits with the thorns.
2) Also many of the stems which were touching the ground have rooted, can I just plant them up and grow them cordon/ espallier style or do they have to be bigger. They are about 10 inches long.
thnak you
