Grape vine in Scotland?

Well in the end I got my hands on 3x Isabella strawberry grapes. It says they do best in calcareous soils but other reports say fertile loam. I'm going to mix those two together and see what happens. Some journals say that it needs hot conditions to ripen fruit then others say that its famed for its ability to crop in mild conditions. I'll hope for the best.
