    Mine flowered last year, and I just whipped off the flowery bits. Still gave me loads of rhubarb from which I made loads of rhubarb schnaps.

    I wouldnt worry too much, rhubarb is quite tough (I know HW, I know) but try a little tlc at the mo, some manure if you can get some is always good, just lay it round as a mulchy type affair.

      One or two of mine are flowering too, even though the soil is nice and rich. I wonder if the cold winter had an effect?

              I did this with multi purpose compost at the weekend.

                  A few of my plants looked like they were going to flower a week or so ago, but as happened to Nicos, the big buddy bulby thing opened into leaves, no flower to be seen, so hang fire with the loppers people!
