one will slip the fruit off the cone easily whereas the other sticks so you have to pick it cone and all? Or am I dreaming again?

Um. The way I read the sticking cones it that that is the unfortunate, not catching on Nessberry. That's another I never heard of.

On the genetic bits I think we would have to ask BF to translate for us. He did a great post on an apples' thread explaining how it works in layman's terms (if that is completely possible). I don't know how knowledgeable he is on these hybrids. Still plant genes are plant genes.
