  • First nectarines (?) on 2 year old tree

Very exciting - there are a few fruits on the volunteer tree in the garden (even more on the one on the allotment, but that is terribly afflicted with leaf curl, so I'm expecting a lot to drop).
I'd assumed they were peaches, but the fruits look more like little nectarines.

My potted 2 year old seed-grown tree also has fruit. It has 6 walnut-sized peaches coming.
My larger tree in the ground at the allotment had lots of flowers, but seems to have no fruit. It also has pretty bad peach leaf curl, which I'm sure is at least partly to blame for that, but I think the main reason was poor pollination due to lots of rainy days during flowering time.
