    The answer is winter.
    They produce new lead shoots in summer that produce some fruit the following year and lots the year after that.
    Cut out the older wood that is producing smaller fruit to allow room for the new wood to take over with its bigger fruit.

      Once you get the pruning right the rewards will come.
      It is indeed worth building a brick and concrete raised bed in the end.

        i bought two potted blueberries from P@mona Fruits for my mum’s birthday in June a couple of years ago and they’ve been fantastic.
