is this a blackberry bush?

    Well it turns out it was a blackberry because I eat a blackberry from it yesterday! Woop!!

    But my next question is this?

    It has thrown out canes and suckers in all directions. Can I now chop it up into smaller plants and grom the rest on the lotty?

    If so, can someone help with how?

      Yes, just dig off a bit with root attached, and replant. Later in the month would be better, when it's less hot

        Yes, thats an 'Oregon Thornless' for sure. Planted one of these in my garden in the spring and is growing away like mad! I think its quite a decorative bush with the leaves totally different from all other blackberrys i have seen.

        The blackberries are just starting to ripen up now so havent had a chance to taste them yet
