We have a large walled garden that used to be part of an 18th century estate. The walled garden is quite big, approximately 70m by 30m. It has a 2.5m high red brick walls and is very pretty. It is currently grass and a few old apple trees.
There is an old Victorian greenhouse that has seen better days but is still functional. Also two old raised beds and one set of cold frames with no covers.
There is also a gardener's room with toilet, power and a sink.
Please PM me if you are interested. We would like to see it worked by a careful, responsible gardener. No charge, just a share of the produce!

Alas I am too far away and to old to start from scratch.
Someone should take it on and create a pictorial record of its restoration.

. Would it be worth speaking to the council see if they have waiting lists and talk to them about the opportunity.
