Looking for landshare or Allotment nr Maidenhead, Berkshire

Hi

Can any one help me? I'm desperate for a landshare or allotment nr Maidenhead Berkshire for my sister and I. We both have young children and would love to show them how to grow! I have been looking for a year now with no luck!

I don't know your area or of any land but alloments are very scarce these days and waiting for the phone call could be years.
What i would do is look for any land locally that is not be used what ever the state and find out who owns it , then track them down to ask if you can rent it.
During this recession this proccess should be easier as developers are not looking for building land so making shrub land worth less at the moment and easier to convince the land owner that you been there is good news for them.
go out and look you will be suprised at what you find.
