Hi! Im new to the site so hopefully someone can help. I'm looking for an allotment in Leeds - ideally around Horsforth, Roundhay, Chapel Allerton, Headingley/Burley etc. I know the council lists are very long so does anyone know of any other routes of obtaining a plot without having to wait 2+ years? Thanks Zoe x

Zoe,
our waiting list in Headingley isn't that long at the moment. We are just behind the train station (there are two and I'm on the less established, wilder side).
PM me your details if you are interested in going on the list.

Ill get the details and get back to you. Ill Pm you when I find the number. As I said be warned, its a very rough site, but you can grow on it if your determined! Problem is here are so few people who keep on top of their plots, plus there are no facilities really!! Dont mean to put you off, just be realistic!Originally posted by KerriManic View Postcool, thanks. How do I get on the waiting list for there??? Do I need to go trhoguh the council??
Im not sure what plots are free if any, but theres never any one there when I go plus many are really overgrown! Ill try and get the secreteries email/mobile for you.
