Hi Halfaxgaz and a warm welcome to the Vine. In short, yes you can follow your garlic with other crops but if manuring make sure it's well rotted first. We're always juggling the paper plans to see what can go where once a crop has been harvested, this years sweetcorn went where the garlic came out.
Enjoy and keep us posted how you get on.Location ... Nottingham

Did you mean plant another crop of garlic? If so, the answer to that is yes, but as with all crops, it is best to move them around the growing areas to prevent a build up of disease. If you just meant can you plant something immediately after you harvest your garlic, the answer is a definite yes.Originally posted by Halfaxgaz View PostAs a community group we have just taken on an allotment so far we only have 4 Raised Beds if I plant some garlic in 1 of the beds if I manure it after I've harvested it all can I plant in the same bed the year after
