Interesting article from BBC Wales, enouraging Welsh AM's to GYO!
BBC News - Julie Morgan AM calls for Welsh assembly allotment
For those who know Cardiff, the Sennedd is situated in quite close proximity to, shall I say, less affluent areas (ie Butetown and Grangetown). My point is wouldn't this land be better used for those local residents to be given the chance to grow veggies there?

The allotment waiting list seems to be a problem in a lot of the UK. We need better legislation that places an onus on Local Authorities to provide allotments close to the areas where there is a demand. Something to ask our Assembly members!!
