I'm a bit reluctant to begin anything on the possible route the lorry will take as owing to the rain, they have already managed to compact some of the ground and created two "wildlife ponds".Built for comfort, not speed!Comment

Maybe you can use these new 'ponds' as a mass snail/slug drowning grave, I found a metal container full of water on sunday at my new plot so I collected up as many as I could find all day and dumped them all in the water as I went.Comment

I went to the allotment last Saturday after having not been for a few days, to see if the Roundup had been successful. Blimey! I didn't realise the stuff was so good as not only had the weeds gone but the whole plot had been ploughed! Roundup is incredible

I didn't see one but I did think the container was a bit heavy, even when empty so maybe there was a time switch which activate after a few days and the plough appeared from a secret compartment.
