I've been asked to view some plots!!!!!!!

I'm so excited!!! I've just received an invitation to come and view a new allotment site that has just been created. Unfortunately I can't make the first day of viewing so I hope I don't miss out on the best plots but I can make the second day

So, the question is, what advice can you all give me on choosing a plot?

get one in the middle of the site in full sunlight(when there is any) but with easy access to water and services. Try to make sure there is access for delivery of fym so that you don't have to barrow it for a long distance. In the middle of a site is usually less prone to vandalism although not exempt.
