Earlier in the year I bought some spuds to grow in the allotment at a reduced price of
50p from a big garden store and yesterday dug the spuds up and got loads of em all looking yummy lol

Well done! Like most veg, homegrown Tatties taste far superior to anything you can buy in the shops.

I over-did it when ordering mine this year (it's so easy to just click with the mouse ), and have planted loads. My 'lasagne' beds aren't ready for anything else yet, so I bunged 'em full of spuds. If they store, we'll still be eating them this time next year, I reckon. I may just fill feed sacks with 'em and sell 'em.

now there is a wee space in the plot can i buy more spuds to grow? and maybe harvest over wonter or is it too late?

You can try spuds for Christmas but they are a lot less successful and need cosseting. Maybe better to follow on with some winter brassicas.
