Ideas what to plant around my allotment boundries?

I had a blackthorn hedge 10ft when i got my plot. Took the best part of 2 years to burn and tame it. Now its bl£$dy windy.
My advice if your having a hedge mantain it and dont put your neigbours plot into shade.
we're also giving JA a go if i ever plant them.

Did my first bit of serious digging today and planted 3 blackberry bushes. They should be pretty easy to mantain :-)
