At last an allotment!! fret, worry.

At last after being on the waiting list for 15 months for an allotment, the lady from the council called today to say they have a plot for me :.

I didn't know if to laugh or cry because next Monday i am in hospital having a double lumbar fusion on my spine involving bone grafts , screws, rods an other iron mongery an will be laid up for weeks an weeks

Thank goodness for my wonderful family who know how much i want this allotment, and have already lined up a team to get it cleared and start the cultivation for me. It's very handy having a grown daughter who is a used to clearing over-grown gardens for a living, and who is a dab hand with a petrol strimmer an digging holes and has lots of mates.

I were nearly in tears at the frustration of the diabolical timing of an offer of a plot, and now i am all excited an cant wait to see what my plot looks like even if i only get to see photo's of it.
I suppose there could be worse things than being laid up for weeks planning my new plot while it is all cleared for me
