Apart from growing my own organically, the reason I got an allotment was to get away from the wife/other half/mother of my children etc. The feeling of release of that back to nature, make your own decisions without rebuke, style of living after 30 years with the same geourgeous lady, just in case she reads this, does wonders for your love life. Or any other life come too that!
