Doubt that baby will mind the noise, more likely find it interesting, trying to work out what it is and where it is coming from.

To them it is all information and experience.

Make sure they can see you all the time and find them a reasonably sunny spot to observe from.

She's just over a year old now and you are quite right. She's loves a loud, out of the ordinary noise. Hand blender, hair dryer, coffee machine. She'll be thrilled when it's time for the strimmer again. Albeit from a slight remove.
