    Hi,

    Could anyone tell me what this little fella is?

    Eats all my spinach and lettuce but not pea and bean leaves.

    Oops, looks like photos are not allowed and I cant edit the post.
    It is a tiny black beetle with 2 yellow stripes down its back, from head to tail. Makes tiny holes in ghe leaves, which brown around the edges of the hole.

      Duncan I've had a quick google and come up with a Striped cucumber beetle, not sure if thats the one but hopefully someone will come along later who can id it for you.

        Cryptocephalus does seem to be there about but I cant find an exact match in a Google search. Hopefully this will be enough to find a cure.

          Some flea beetles have white or yellow stripes,they make little holes & jump a lot. Their preference is radish if you sow some about a foot away,they’ll gather amongst the radish,I tried this with rocket. If the rockets in a raised pot they don’t seem to get that high.

            I think that is a fourlined plant bug. Never heard of it before, but I think it looks like these beggars:
