    The big advantage of lazy beds over raised beds is there's nowhere for slugs to hide. Downsides are that water tends to run off when you water, and soil gradually creeps onto the paths.

      It does depend on how tall you are and what reach you have. Shorter reach will need narrower beds and vice versa. You need to be able to reach and work on half the width of the bed.

      A lot of my work is done on my knees, planting and weeding etc that's why I like the 2 foot wide paths rather than any narrower so that my feet aren't dangling in the bed behind.Beds really shouldn't be longer than 12 foot (To save on walking round them to access other areas) I use a 4 foot plank of wood to make a shortcut bridge if I am moving around a lot..
