Thanks for all your hello's and advice. Have chopped all the weeds down and going to.use weed killer...even Alan Titchmarsh says it's ok.Lol It looks better already and less daunting.

Hi Sweatpea and welcome from me too.
You've obviously made your mind up but I'm a NO weedkiller person - whatever Alan Titchmarsh may say. I'm not eating vegetables grown on his land so its his choice, but personally, I like to avoid using poison in case it ends up on my plate!
There are too many unanswered questions about many of the weedkillers on sale at the moment.
