I could, but the only tomatoes I'm growing this year are sungold and the only chillies will be rocotos and possibly a lemon drop, none of which are suitable for hanging baskets. I'm a bit rubbish with hanging basket tomatoes anyway, they always either get blossom end rot, split, or die, my watering habits leave a lot to be desired! I'm thinking I might stick my nasturtiums in there as they're trailing ones and if I accidentally kill them it doesn't matter too much. Or I might try strawberries in there. Or both! Who knows. I need to measure the bracket to work out what size basket to buy and then go from there.

I've been to the garden centre this morning and seen some bent over bamboo canes for making little tunnels about 3' in diameter, so once I've got the raised bed sorted out I might get some of those and stick enviromesh over to keep out the toddler and other pests
