    Vegetable Heaven: Jam session

only difference I do is to add ginger to the leftover plup instead of gooseberries.

Haven't done too much this last week due to a sore back, it's on the mend now though so went down to the plot to see how things were doing.

It's nice to see things growing.

My Winter Field Beans - Wizzard are showing . . . they were planted 11th and 14th Dec.

All my Garlic - Provence Wight is showing, planted 12th December

and the Rhubarb I divided and replanted on the 7th Dec has a leaf or two . . .

                  Re: Planted thyme

and it's coming up already, bit of a pain, will now have to split off the cells that the Thyme is in so the chillies can stay in the propagator . . . it's a pain but still glad to see the Thyme coming up

Good growing progress in the last 2 weeks, especially the garlic.

The Winter Field Beans seem to be getting stockier but not much taller . . .

I have a few gaps in the Broad Beans, due to using old seed I guess, the "sow by" date was 2011

I have some fresh Aquadulce seed so will be able to fill the gaps, plus I have a couple of test plants growing in the greenhouse.

                      Chitting progress . . .

Started these on the 12th Feb so they have had 3 weeks, was planning to try the Jersey way but most of my tubers have more than 3 shoots anyway, will see how they are in another 3 weeks.

Garlic is doing really well, I'm very happy with it so far :-)

More Rhubarb growing well after being divided and replanted . . .

My 2 Hinnomaki Red gooseberry bushes, one transplanted from my garden where it wasn't doing so well and a new one recently bought from Wilcos.

Great work Raptor, nice to have it finished I'd say...
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

                            ...utterly nutterly

you hit the nail on the head, it's nice to go there now and not have any "construction" to work on

Now we get to find out if I can "walk the walk" and actually grow what I am planning to grow, I'm up for the challenge
