I have just viewed and accepted a new plot this week, am very excited about my new venture. I have attached pictures before I have tackled the weeds

Welcome, looks like you've got yourself a decent plot there that doesn't need too much clearance. Good time to start now. Aim to clear a patch to sow broad beans by early October. I found once I'd got stuff growing, it spurred me on to clear the rest!

Did not get organised enough to plant broad beans. However I did mange to clear a small patch for over wintering onions and garlic. Fingers crossed they grow
