If you can't fill it then green manure will keep the weeds down and the soil in good heart.

But are you going to sow onion seeds or wait or a bit and buy some overwintering onion sets?

Not a clue ive only had plot since monday just trying to do all other jobs first greenhouse glazing,weeding.harvesting what ever can be harvested etc
