        You could try Southampton Allotment and Garden Association - they have a facebook page and web site - my allotments are down near dock gate 20 and being retired I no longer own a car, don't need one with a bus pass. although drivers do get a bit upset if you try taking big items on board, so I guess bags of manure wouldn't be welcome either. Otherwise I would take all the manure you have, I've just spread 16 ton of horse s**t and I am sure you don't have more than that. Anything organic I compost in bins 4 cubic metre in size and I have 3 of them.

          send the council an email, failling that pop down to boyatt wood allotment see if you can put up notices on their board
