  • Hello from the soggy West Country

I think it's stopped raining now. Maybe. I've shared an allotment with my mother for 8 years now but there always seems to be something we need advice on so hopefully I've come to the right place. Bristol has a warm but wet climate which is great in terms of extended growing seasons but not so good for blight and other fungal problems.

Hello RedRuth and welcome. Same sort of climate here I'm sure somebody here will be able to help you - whatever your question may be!

I'm the furthest east you can get (well, RustyLady's a few metres further but she's not here yet) ~ and this is one of the driest areas of the UK, and we get blight too.

I'm here and yes I'm a bit further south and east from Twosheds. It hasn't been very dry here this year, but not as wet as the West Country. Welcome to the Vine Ruth, hope you enjoy it.

            Hello from the Pyrenees.

It can be blisteringly hot and dry here and I still get blight.
