  • Hello Fellow Growers

Hello to all like minded growers - this is my first delve in to a forum and it promises to have some great ideas, so will be returning again and again - when work commitments permit!
I am a primary school teacher and got 'hooked' on gardening when I started planting potatoes at school. I now run an over-subscribed gardening club and have won a regional potato growing competition as well as this year being awarded second best school garden in the area (our first year of entry and we were judged on the penultimate day of term after crops had been harvested!)
I have received seeds galore for Christmas as I am now determined and excited to be growing veg at home - we turned over a small area of garden specifically for the purpose in the summer hols. I also have a small, heated propagator and an now itching to get going before I return to school.
Any advice, help, inspiration, tips and feedback would be extremely welcome.
Here's to a great growing season for us all.
    Tx
