  • Hello folks.

This is my first year of having a decent sized garden and indeed gardening itself. I've been reading all winter and last weekend started building my raised beds.

Plan to grow herbs, tomatoes, potatoes, peas, carrots, salad leaves and strawberries outside. The greenhouse will get tomatoes, cucumbers and chillies. I've also got 5 fruit trees in pots on the decking. Might as well jump right in eh?

If I get anything this year I'll be delighted as I expect it to be a year of making mistakes and learning some cold hard facts.

Thanks in advance fo all the advice I'll be seeking.
