Hi everyone,
I'm Charlie and I live in Devon with my husband and 2 year old. We've had a quarter of an allotment plot since last January (roughly 6x8m) and I spent as much time on there as was humanly possible last spring and summer - it turns out I really love it!
Last year I only grew a few things that I thought would be easy for a beginner (mainly as I was afraid of being shamed - my plot is next to the annual winner of the best-kept allotment award - yikes!), but as most things seemed to grow, this year I'm going all out to plant all sorts of weird and wonderful stuff. I might have got a bit giddy on the seed-buying front over the winter...
Anyway, I've just found you lot and it's been a revelation - already I've had so many questions answered just by lurking for a few days. So I thought I should take the plunge, say hi and apologise in advance for all the daft questions to follow.
