Obviously, I am a newbie here and this is my first post!
I have had a quick trawl though the site, and it's great to see so many like minded enthusiastic people here...what took me so long ??

We have been allotment gardening for 4 years now, starting from scratch with a neglected rubbish riddled plot, to what is now recognisable as an allotment, even though it won't be winning any "Best allotment " prizes!
