While I'm here.......is that your red tractor and does it have a name?
Not ringing any bells. There's been quite a turnover of teaching staff at the school since 2012, so may no longer be here.

Yes, the tractor is a 1967 Nuffield 4/65 which I restored a few years ago. Still a few bits to do but it does a good job of looking after the fields we rent for the horses and, as here, haymaking. It doesn't really have a name, except for the odd flat-battery moment, when it gets several.

Strange, I got an "upload failed" message and it's not showing up as my avatar.

Fáilte to the vine Bonjour from another tractor owner, mind you mine is in a very poor condition compared to yours. I’m also a back garden gardener with a poly tunnel

                  Cheers Can the Man,

Wish I had a polytunnel. I'm not allowed one on the lottie. I'll have to make do with "cold frames" placed over a hotbed to get my earlier starts.

I had a large tunnel years ago before marrying - 10/12 foot x 20, it was my little piece of heaven, so very useful
