Martin I would strongly recommend this garden it covers fruit and veg. shrubs and flowers and of course it is also all organic which I dont do myself, but I got a sense of peace and tranquillity from walking round this garden and to me that made it one of the best gardens I have visited.Originally posted by Martin H View PostNice thought. I've never been to Barnsdale but would like to go some time.it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

I"m with you rary, regards Barnsdale. I have been a couple of times and hope to go again next year. Would like to go twice in the different seasons of spring and high summer to see the differences.Originally posted by rary View PostMartin I would strongly recommend this garden it covers fruit and veg. shrubs and flowers and of course it is also all organic which I dont do myself, but I got a sense of peace and tranquillity from walking round this garden and to me that made it one of the best gardens I have visited.

rary, if you have google as a search engine, type in - distance from worcester to hidcote - it's quite clever and the top site will bring up the travelling time and a map. On the map will be a drop down list of directions.
Wait, I'll post the link - simpler all round

Endless wonder.

Just a note to say thanks to Mothhawk and the other members of the vine who recommended Hidcote. Went there while I was down that way and had a very good day, lots to see and plenty of colour in the gardens, all well maintained and a helpful and friendly guide to provide information
Again thanks to all who recommended this garden and also to every one who recommended their favorite garden to visit.it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
