  • Grow Your Own Veg by Carole Klein

    Hiya All

Hope you all had a good Christmas.

Got a quick question about allotment books.

I asked for The Allotment book by Andi Clevely for Christmas( which I didnt get ) BUT while looking in a bookshop I noticed Carole Klein has also got a book out, I think it connected to her new TV show in the new year.

Did anyone get the book for Xmas? would you recommend it? Had a quick look and it seems she gives loads of advice (in detail) on growing Veg.

or is the allotment book better?

    Thanks
    Lorraine

also asked for a year subscription for GYO which I didnt get hubby noticed I was not a happy bunny so he quickly got me a subscribtion on Christmas day

Yep just looked at amazon and its not a bad price.

I actually thought I would end up with loads of gardening stuff from the family as this is my first year with my allotment but nope, got a few seeds from my mum and a pencil ( made out of wood)which is also a whistle - hubby bought it so I could make notes in my note book I have, which I thought was a good idea.

        Oh well

I'm really keen to get Carol's book too, as I'm really enjoying the series. Her sheer enjoyment of veg growing is very very infectious!

I couldn't be without my Andi Clevelly - I must have read it cover to cover at least half a dozen times now.
