Joe's Allotment.

Pre-ordered the Joe Swift 'Joe's Allotment' book and it arrived a little earlier than expected. Came on Friday, not supposed to be available until 2nd April.

Must say it is a thoroughly good read. Not so much a 'how to' book more a 'what Joe did' book. Great pictures of his lottie, including the infamous triangular and diamond shaped raised beds.

It is the doom of man, that they forget.

I found the sections on Joe's lottie on GW a bit cringe worthy and always got the impression that the other lottie holders thought he was a bit of a fool. Glad you like the book though even if it sounds more like a good story rather than an instruction manual.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
