I've only just realised how suddenly it's staying darker in the mornings.
Be needing night vision goggles soon

Maybe I should order some for our wardrobe/dressing up box? Be more fun than the polka dot frock!!!

Kettle's on, croissants warming.
Today we have a selection of gooseberry and banana jam or cherry and chocolate jam. Feel free to help yourselves.
Personally I really, really fancy a bacon butty with dribbley egg..mmmm....

Morning all, I can bring the bacon Nicos but don't have any eggs I'm afraid.
Proper rain yesterday afternoon so spent a relaxed hour in the lotty tea shed just looking out the window with a cuppa. Temp dropped from 24 down to 13c but it half filled the barrels.
Lovely and sunny at the mo, hopefully signing a new tenant up this morning.

Feels proper cold this morning - down to 8C overnight.
Still had a nice lot of rain yesterday, but hoping that's it for now. Sun is out and I want to play outside in some warmth.

Morning crew, cold over night and chilly this morning compared to the last few weeks, the plan was a couple of hours on the plot early, but I was too knackered and went back to sleep. I'm boat building with my future son-in-law today, whilst my daughter takes my little Triffid into town in her wheelchair, At least this one has solid wheels and will not get a flat, as far as I know my RAC Family membership does not cover the wheel chair LOL

Morning, all. Watered the toms this morning and noticed that some the fruit have got that yellowish, nipped-by-cold look to them. Must have been really chilly on Thursday. Had a really good night's sleep last night, so probably cool too.

Also, watered the potatoes and dug up a few of the BF 15. The dogs seem to like these and the Ratte most of all, as they're ignoring the Amandine and Mandola. So I thought I'd better give them a try while there are still some left.

Looks like it's going to be a hot one here again. So I'll be back hibernating downstairs in the cool later on.

Good morning all,owch Janie B,hope you get sorted soon,and please DO NOT send that reprabate fairy my way,had my share ,i sometimes wonder if it has been cloned,we had a bit of rain yesterday pm,done nothing,made a start on the veggie area re-design,i am finding it hard work,but i have to do it,if i want it done rolleyes:,it should then be easier for me to keep gardening a bit longer,slower but sure,am not sleeping as good,my head is doing things,brain will not shut off,am gardening to decorating ext,ext,ext,this is not how we planned retirement,have decided NOT to grow anything else this year,to give me breathing space,have a good day and look afteryrselves

Hello. I’ve been out for most of the day. There were a few good things that happened as well as the bad. When I had the accident it was opposite the fire station so I had les Pompiers as witnesses. They also closed the road and helped me get my car off it and onto their forecourt. A few days later, when I was helping my dil move house, another lot of Pompiers came to the rescue when we were trying to load a huge fridge freezer on to the van.

And, and I’ve got a hedgehog in the garden! Prince was barking and whining so much the other night I thought he was stuck so I got the torch and went looking. It was a hedgehog, curled up in a ball. I have no idea how it got into the garden but it is most welcome. I live in a terrace of 4 houses (used to be 5) which have a 7ft wall around the gardens so I have no idea how he got in. He’ll help with my anti slug battle.

A few more domestics for me this morning, then I have the choice of nipping to a medieval fair , WW2/1940's weekend event , a Vide Grenier , or a poetry/music event in the village where a few peeps I know are contributing. Or, I could stay here and sew!
Why does everything happen at the same time!

Either way....breakfast calls....kettle's on -help yrselves.

Morning all. Had plenty of rain again last night and it looks as if we could have showers all day today so its indoor jobs again today.
Kids had a movie night at grandma and granddads last night so will be picking them up about 12ish.

Hot here and I woke up well after the alarm went off. Better head out and deal with the watering before it becomes impossible. The dogs are flaked out. So they've been out marauding. Haven't seen the aftermath yet... Just as well they're sleeping, though. The hunters are out.
